Tugas 4 (Task 4) Bahasa Inggris Bisnis: The reason why i choose Information System as my major.

Why did I choose Information System?

I will tell you about the reason behind my major, Information System. First of all, before I start my story, I will tell you guys about myself. My name is Tiara Ayu Suci Ramadhan, I am 21 years old. I live in Jakarta. I graduated from 42 Senior High School from science major. And because of my major in Senior High School, I started to think about what is the next major that I should choose when I enter university.

The first major that came into my mind was Psychology. Because I liked to study other people's behavior. I think its very fun and interesting. and I think it would be very nice if I could become a Psychologist and help other people with their problems. And the second was International Relation. I would like to study International Relation is because I like to travel and explore about another country. I want to know more about the world and international issues that is happening in our society. I really want to become one of Indonesian's Embassy staff, and also I could travel the world easily and freely while I did my job. It is one of my dream since I was a kid. And after graduated high school I took SNMPTN but I didn't pass. So I try to take another test like SBMPTN and I chose Psychology and International Relation as my major, and I didn't pass it either,

I know that Psychology and International Relation are not related to science, but I prefer them than any other major. So after failed the SBMPTN test I don't know what major should I choose because I am stuck with Psychology and International Relation. Actually, my mom didn't want me to studied both of them, and she insisted that I have to choose another major that related to science, like Industrial Engineering. I told her that I don't want to study Engineering and she told me to choose Information System instead. And, the first reason why I choose Information System is because my failure on SNMPTN and SBMPTN test, and also because my mom told me to choose a major that related to science and technology.

And the second reason is because I think there will be so many job opportunities that I would get if I choose Information System as my major. Because nowadays, technology is something that is very important and global. So it cant be denied that everyone will need it and need someone that experts on it.

And the reason why I choose Gunadarma University as my University is because Gunadarma is one of many universities that has the best Technology and Computer major, and its not too far from my house. And also Gunadarma Univeristy's alumni is really known for their skill in technology and computer field, like programming and coding.

Honestly it is hard for me to adapt in the first place, but I think I grew better and better so slowly I can be happy and success in this major. Although at first I didn't want this major, but I think I have to study really hard to get my dreams and make my parents proud of it.
